1. Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

“Affiliates” means coursesindoha or any other entity that, directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with coursesindoha.

“Company” or “Companies” means any corporation(s), limited liability company(ies), partnership(s) or other similar entities.

“Law” means Law No. (13) of 2016 on Protecting Personal Data Privacy of the State of Qatar, as amended from time to time.

“Non-personal Identification Information” means any non-personal information collected from Users pursuant to their interaction with the Website or other digital channels, including but not limited to the browser name, type of device, technical information about Users’ means of connection to the Website such as the operating system, Internet service provider, IP address, device identifiers, and other similar information.

“Personal Identification Information” means any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including but not limited to when Users visit the Website, make an enquiry, complete an admission form, respond to a survey, or otherwise provide information in connection with activities, services, features or resources we make available. Users may be asked for personal information including, but not limited to, name, email address, phone number, residential address, age/date of birth, and other details disclosed in relation to the Services. coursesindoha will collect Personal Identification Information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply Personal Identification Information, except that it may prevent them from using certain Services.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Personal Identification Information and Non-personal Identification Information together are referred to as “Personal Information”.

“Personal Data” / “Personal Information” shall have the meaning attributed to that term under Law No. (13) of 2016 on Protecting Personal Data Privacy of the State of Qatar.

“Services” means the training and learning services provided by coursesindoha and/or its Affiliates, including but not limited to structured courses, seasonal camps, and 1:1 coaching programs, and any related advisory, scheduling, admission, or support services.

“Program” means any learning product offered by coursesindoha, including courses, camps or 1:1 coaching.

“Course” means a structured, cohort-based training Program with a fixed syllabus, schedule, and defined number of sessions.

“Camp” means a seasonal Program (for example, winter or summer camps) offered by coursesindoha, usually on a weekly basis with pre-planned activities and projects.

“Coaching Program” or “1:1 Coaching” means a personalized one-to-one Program delivered through pre-purchased session packs (for example, 8, 16, or 24 sessions), scheduled individually with the student.

“Student” / “Participant” / “Member” means any individual enrolled in a Program.

“Guardian” means the parent or legal guardian of a Student/Participant under the age of eighteen (18). For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, coursesindoha considers individuals aged eighteen (18) and above as adults who can contract and consent on their own behalf.

“Third Party” means any person or entity other than you or us, which may include payment processors, communication platforms, analytics providers, and other vendors that are not Affiliates of coursesindoha.

“Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions for the use of the Website and the Services of coursesindoha, as may be updated from time to time.

“Trainers” means individuals who provide qualified training and coaching for various Programs provided by us. Trainers typically work with us on a contractual or freelance basis.

“Users” or “You” means users, visitors, customers, or prospective customers who enquire about or avail the Services provided by coursesindoha.

“Website” means the platform on which we provide Users with information about our Services (currently the webpage available at https://www.coursesindoha.com and any associated sites under our control.

This Privacy Policy covers Personal Information and/or Personal Data collected from and about individuals who are customers or prospective customers of coursesindoha.

This Privacy Policy includes examples of the types of information we may collect and the kinds of Third Parties to whom we may disclose information. 3.1 In Relation to the Services

For the purposes of handling enquiries, admission, scheduling, and delivering Programs, Users will be required to disclose certain information, including contact details and Program preferences.

- Make an enquiry about any Program (courses, camps, or coaching);
- Request a call back or to “talk to an advisor”;
- Fill out an admission or registration form (online or offline);
- Confirm a booking or complete payment for a Program;
- Communicate with us by email, WhatsApp or telephone;
- Participate in surveys, feedback forms, or internal research activities.

Depending on how you interact with us, the information we may collect directly from you includes (without limitation):

- Name of Student and, where applicable, Guardian;
- Email address;
- Mobile / telephone number;
- Residential area or address;
- Age or date of birth and Program eligibility details (such as age group);
- Emergency contact details;
- Information about your Program interests, schedule preferences, and learning objectives;
- Information required for safety and operational purposes (for example, allergies or relevant medical notes

  voluntarily provided by you);

- Payment information required for processing transactions, including billing name and reference numbers
  (card details are collected and processed by third-party payment gateways, not stored by coursesindoha);
- Information about your transactions with us ( Programs purchased, fees paid, schedule, attendance and

  completion status).

We may also collect certain information automatically when you visit the Website, such as information about your device and what parts of our Website or content you spend time viewing. We use tools such as cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to gather such information. Some of these tools may offer you the ability to opt out of certain data collection.

We may be able to determine from an IP address your Internet Service Provider and the approximate geographic location of your point of connectivity. Location data may be used, for example, to understand which country or city Users are visiting from and to improve our Services.

We do not collect or store full financial account numbers or government-issued identification numbers directly on our systems. Where you choose to make a payment online, you will be redirected to a secure third-party payment gateway that collects your financial details directly for the purpose of processing the payment.

4. Legal Bases For Processing Under Qatar Law

Without prejudice to any provisions of the Law regarding protection of Personal Data privacy, we process your Personal Data, as set out in Section 5 below, under the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract:
      Our processing is necessary to perform our obligations under an agreement with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into such an agreement (for example, to respond to your enquiry, confirm Program details, process your admission and deliver the Program).
  • Legitimate interests:
        
    Our processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, including (without limitation) to:
    - Operate and improve our Programs and the Website;
    - Protect the safety and wellbeing of Students, Guardians, Trainers and staff;
    - Establish, protect and defend our legal rights and interests;
    - Prevent fraud and verify identity and authorization of Users;
    - Personalize Program recommendations and communications;
    - Understand and analyse usage trends; and
    - Improve our Services and develop new Programs.

    Where we rely on legitimate interests, we assess that our interests are not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms that require protection of Personal Data.
  • Legal compliance:
      Our processing is required to comply with applicable laws (for example, maintaining transaction records for accounting and tax purposes, or complying with a lawful request from competent authorities).

- Respond to enquiries and provide course, camp or coaching information;

If a portion or all of our assets are sold or transferred to a third party, customer information would likely be one of the transferred business assets. - New or upcoming courses, camps and coaching Programs;

To manage and improve our advertising and to display content that may be more relevant to Users, we may work with advertising companies, measurement services and ad networks.

We are not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any Third Parties that receive your Personal Information as a result of factors beyond our reasonable control.

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Privacy Policy or elsewhere, we shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of your Personal Information or Personal Data if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to any event that is beyond our reasonable control.

9. Retention Of Your Information

- Providing the relevant Program and related services;
- Handling enquiries, complaints and after-service support;
- Meeting legal, accounting and reporting requirements; and

- Where processing is based on consent, withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent   before its withdrawal).
