Studio House Rules

Our studio is a shared making space. These house rules help keep everyone safe, respectful, and focused while they learn and make.

They apply to all members, parents, guardians, mentors, and visitors in any coursesindoha studio or partner venue.

How we treat each other ?

  • Treat all members, mentors, staff, parents, and visitors with respect.
  • Use clear, calm, and polite language. No shouting or rude comments.
  • Be patient with others. Everyone learns at a different speed.
  • Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is not accepted.

How we use the studio ?

  • Use machines, tools, and materials only as shown by the mentor or studio team.
  • Do not change machine settings or move equipment without permission.
  • Do not touch other members’ work, tools, or personal items.
  • Keep your workspace tidy and help clean up before you leave.
  • Store bags and personal items in the areas shown by the studio team.

Safety in a making studio

  • Follow all safety instructions from mentors and the studio team, even if you are experienced.
  • Wear suitable clothing for making: closed shoes, tied-back hair, and no long loose items near machines or wet materials.
  • Do not run, push, or play roughly inside the studio.
  • Tell a mentor or the studio team immediately if there is an accident, injury, broken tool, or anything that feels unsafe.

Phones, photos, and privacy

  • Keep phones on silent during sessions. Use them only if the mentor agrees or in an emergency.
  • You may take photos of your own work. Always ask before taking photos or videos of other members or their children.
  • If you or your child prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please inform coursesindoha in writing before the program starts so we can note it on your profile.- Store bags and personal items in the areas shown by the studio team.

Food, drinks, and cleanliness

  • Keep food and snacks only in the areas marked for eating, not on sewing tables, cutting tables, or art stations.
  • Keep drinks in closed bottles when near machines, fabrics, yarns, or paints.
  • Use the bins provided and wipe any spills or tell the studio team.
  • Leave your table and shared areas clean and ready for the next member.

Parents and guardians

  • For kids and teens programs, please speak with mentors before or after class time unless there is an urgent issue.
  • Arrive on time for drop-off and pick-up so we can start and finish sessions calmly and safely.
  • Share feedback or concerns directly with the coursesindoha team by email, WhatsApp, or at reception, not in front of the group, so we can handle it properly.

When rules are not followed

coursesindoha may:

  • Pause or stop a session if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
  • Speak with the member and, where relevant, the parent or guardian.
  • In serious or repeated cases, ask the member to leave the studio or end their place in the program.

No refunds are given if a member is removed from a program because of behaviour that breaks these house rules.

If you need support

If you ever feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or worried about something in the studio:

  • Speak to a mentor or a member of the studio team, or
  • Contact us at members@coursesindoha.com or through our official WhatsApp numbers.

We will listen, keep the matter as private as possible, and take steps to protect everyone in the space.

Learn new skills, meet great people, and make something you're proud of—every week.
