Course overview

A hands-on fashion course for kids and teens who are looking to explore the world of fashion, begin a learning path in fashion education, or are simply curious about how fashion is made.

Students will learn how to sew on a domestic machine, build their own design ideas through mood boards and sketching, and create wearable garments using patternless construction— all in a supportive, studio-style environment.

The course is beginner-friendly and offered in two age groups(8–11 and 12–16), with projects tailored to each level.

By the end of the program, students will complete three garments and build a simple portfolio they can proudly share.

FAQs

Do you have installment plans?

Yes. We partner with PayLater, which allows eligible families to split the course fee into four equal payments. Please speak with our course advisor if you would like support with the installment process.

What if my child misses a session? Will they get a cover-up session?

We understand that schedules can change. coursesindoha offers up to two free cover-up sessions with other active groups, based on mentor and studio availability.

Additional cover-up sessions are 300 QAR each.

What should my child bring to the sessions?

Nothing is required. All tools and materials needed for the course are provided by coursesindoha. Everything is beginner-friendly and suitable for building strong skills.

Will my child receive a certificate after completing the course?

Yes. A coursesindoha certificate is issued after successful completion of the course. Your child must attend at least 90% of sessions and complete all required projects. To request a certificate, please email us at members@coursesindoha.com.

What is your refund, cancellation, and transfer policy?

coursesindoha does not offer refunds, cancellations, or course transfers. Our junior courses run in limited annual batches, which makes it difficult to replace students once a seat is confirmed. Please ensure your child can commit to the schedule before enrolling.

Can we freeze the course and continue later?

Yes. You may freeze the course for up to three months. Please email members@coursesindoha.com before the next session to request a freeze. All freeze approvals depend on available spaces in future batches.

What will my child benefit apart from learning new skills?

Parents often share that their children become more focused, enjoy time away from screens, and feel proud of what they make. Many also see improvements in fine motor skills and general confidence. Creative time each week gives children a calm space to express themselves and feel more settled.

Will this help my child’s academic and future goals?

Yes. Our courses build discipline, commitment, and steady learning habits. These habits support academic progress and are valued in future school applications and activities. Creative courses also show a child’s interest, dedication, and involvement in meaningful work outside the classroom.

How does this course help my child develop their creative potential?

Each course is designed to help children think, explore, and communicate their ideas. Through weekly projects, they learn to plan, make decisions, and express their interests. Over time, this helps them understand what they enjoy and builds a strong foundation for their creative growth.

Learn new skills, meet great people, and make something you're proud of—every week.
