Syllabus
By the end of the course, members will:
- Gain confidence in core drawing and painting skills
- Understand light, form, texture, and perspective
- Use pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and pastel with control
- Complete a personal creative portfolio
- Present their work in a friendly group setting
- Build the technical foundation needed for advanced art study
This course is open to all members aged 8–16.
To join, members must:
- Be at least 8 years old by the course start date
- Have interest in drawing and painting
- Be focused, consistent, and committed to completing the course
- Have basic spoken English to follow instruction and participate in group discussion
Drawing and painting basics
Members begin with line, shape, shading, color mixing, and brush control. Each session introduces a new technical skill through a structured drawing or painting project.

Form, texture, and composition
Members move into more complex drawings and color work, including figure sketching, facial features, still life compositions, and expressive painting.

Final artworks and studio showcase
Members plan and complete a final pencil drawing and a final painting. They learn how to prepare their work for presentation and share it in a relaxed studio showcase.

FAQs
Yes. We partner with PayLater, which allows eligible families to split the course fee into four equal payments. Please speak with our course advisor if you would like support with the installment process.
We understand that schedules can change. coursesindoha offers up to two free cover-up sessions with other active groups, based on mentor and studio availability.
Additional cover-up sessions are 300 QAR each.
Nothing is required. All tools and materials needed for the course are provided by coursesindoha. Everything is beginner-friendly and suitable for building strong skills.
Yes. A coursesindoha certificate is issued after successful completion of the course. Your child must attend at least 90% of sessions and complete all required projects. To request a certificate, please email us at members@coursesindoha.com.
coursesindoha does not offer refunds, cancellations, or course transfers. Our junior courses run in limited annual batches, which makes it difficult to replace students once a seat is confirmed. Please ensure your child can commit to the schedule before enrolling.
Yes. You may freeze the course for up to three months. Please email members@coursesindoha.com before the next session to request a freeze. All freeze approvals depend on available spaces in future batches.
