Acrylic Painting Foundation
This is the perfect starting point for adults who want to learn acrylic painting from the ground up. Across 8 studio sessions, you’ll build practical skills in brush control, color mixing, blending, and composition — with each session structured around a real painting.
You’ll complete 3–4 finished artworks, including still life, abstract, and landscape paintings. The course is intense but achievable, designed to help you move from absolute beginner to confident acrylic painter.
Every session is hands-on, supported by clear demonstrations and step-by-step guidance.
- How to set up your tools, brushes, and surfaces
- Brush control techniques for clean edges and texture
- Color mixing: primaries, secondaries, tones, tints, and value
- Backgrounds, layering, and gradients
- Still life, landscape, and abstract composition
- Finishing, highlights, and presenting your work
Syllabus
You’ll complete 3–4 finished acrylic paintings during the program:
- Brush control + abstract strokes
- Tonal or silhouette study
- Still life painting
- Full landscape or street scene
- Optional: personal painting (open theme)

Yes. We partner with PayLater, which allows eligible members to split the course fee into 4 equal installments. Please talk to our course advisor before registering so we can support a smooth payment setup.
You may attend up to two free cover-up sessions with other active groups, subject to mentor and studio availability. Additional sessions can be arranged for 300 QAR per session.
No. All required materials and tools will be provided by coursesindoha.
Everything is selected to be beginner-friendly and suitable for the projects in your course.
Yes. You’ll receive a branded coursesindoha certificate if you attend at least 90% of sessions and complete all core projects. To request your certificate, email members@coursesindoha.com
Yes. You can freeze your course for up to 3 months. All freeze requests must be emailed before the next session and are subject to availability in future batches.

Yes. All of our maker and painting courses are designed for complete beginners. No prior experience is needed — you’ll be guided step by step in a supportive environment.
Yes. All adult courses are for female members only and are led by female mentors.
In rare cases, we may assign male mentors. Please speak to a course advisor in advance if you have any concerns.
No. We don’t offer seasonal or corporate discounts. We only offer early bird pricing for registrations completed at least 30 days in advance.
Yes. We offer private coaching sessions at 400 QAR per session.
